# SQL-VP-003 Retrieve MCO assignments for a policy (duplicate call)

Retrieves the same Managed Care Organization (MCO) assignment periods as
[SQL-VP-002](SQL-002-mco-getmco.md), but populates `clsPolicyMCOCollection` (a distinct item type,
`clsPolicyMCO`) rather than `clsMCOCollection`. This is documented separately because it is invoked
from a distinct class/file, even though the procedure call is byte-for-byte identical — flagged as
legacy/duplicate code, not a documentation error.
